Mass and a Movie – September 25!

Join other Catholics in our area for Mass and a Movie, held outside at Sacred Heart Church on September 25 starting at 7:00 pm. All are invited!

Registration for Faith Formation is Now Open

Several options are available for families, and will be tailored to your needs through a Parent Meeting taking the form of a conversation with me.  Parent Meetings will be held via Zoom unless an in-person meeting is requested.

Here’s the link to our website where you can learn more about program offerings and register your family for faith formation: https://taocatholic.com/ff-registration/

Remember to sign up for your Zoom meeting with me here: https://signup.com/go/nSMVDfP

Tuition and fees are the same as in the past, $45 per student, grades prek-9 with a family cap of $135 plus $35 per each child enrolled in grade 2 Sacramental Preparation.  The fee for Confirmation Preparation is $70 per student. Please send your payment with the fee worksheet found on the registration webpage.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed both for our in-person program and for our distance learning program.  How would you be willing to help?  Shoot me a quick email back!  Please!?!

Communication

Flexibility and clear communication are going to be keys to our success this year.  I will communicate with you when we have firm plans about upcoming activities so that we can adapt to changing health safety needs and protocols.  We will learn together which forms of communication work best.

Sacramental Preparation – Grade 2

Sacramental Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion will include attending a Parent Meeting in October and will be completed through distance learning with Sacramental celebrations in-person.  You’ll choose to attend the Parent Meeting via Zoom on Tuesday, October 6 from 6:15 – 7:15 pm or in-person on Wednesday, October 7 from 6:15-7:15 pm. Parent/child retreats that would normally be held in person will be outlined at the meeting and adapted for distance learning.

Confirmation Preparation – Grade 10 or above

Confirmation Discipleship Training Sessions will begin next week, September 16 from 6-7pm at St. Peter’s Church in the courtyard.  Materials will be handed out, we’ll pray together, and we’ll talk about the remainder of our sessions that will be held over Zoom.  More information here: https://taocatholic.com/confirmation/

For those who would have been Confirmed in May of 2020: I hope to have more information for you about our rescheduled Liturgy very soon. When I do, I’ll pass that information and final preparation instructions to all in the group. Thank you for your continued patience!

Pass it On

Other years I’ve sent out a paper mailing inviting people to register for Faith Formation.  This year, I’m depending on online promotion and this email to spread the word.  Please help me spread the word by forwarding this email on to others!
