Ways to Get Involved

There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit;

there are different forms of service but the same Lord;

there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone.

To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 (NAB Revised Standard Version)

We all have something in us that has been endowed by the Holy Spirit that we are called to share.  Please prayerfully consider where God is inviting you to share your talents with our ACC.

Liturgy Group

Are you interested in supporting our worship of God in the Mass and the sacraments as an altar server, extraordinary minister of Holy Communion (Eucharistic Minister), greeter, lector (reader), sacristan or usher? Many share their gifts and serve our community in our liturgical ministries.

Eucharistic Ministers

Assist in the reverent distribution of the precious Body and Blood of Jesus at all Parish Liturgies.  Ministers must be members of the Parish and be fully initiated in the Church, having received the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation.  Ministers attend one training session a year and are scheduled approximately three-five times during a three-month period.

Greeters

Greeters are ministers of hospitality.  The primary focus of this ministry is to greet the assembly as they enter the facility, greeting them as if they were being welcomed into their own home.  Individuals, couples and entire families are encouraged to join this ministry.

Music

Do you like to sing?  Do you play an instrument?  The primary role of those in music ministry is to help lead the congregation in prayer through the mass.  Each of the choirs practices once a week – check the bulletin or call the office for more information.

Prayer

We have many different opportunities to pray – you can help lead the rosary, dedicate an hour of prayer during adoration, sign-up for the prayer line or offer to help coordinate with any of the prayer ministries.

Evangelization

Do you feel called to teach our youth the faith?  Do you feel called to lead a Bible study?  Could you help in the summers for our Youth camps or offer to mentor someone interested in joining the Catholic faith?

Please fill out this Time and Talent form to submit your interests to our office and someone will reach out to you.  Thank you so much for your consideration.  How is the Lord calling you to serve?

Are you signed up for Flocknote?

This is another way to get communication about different things happening at our parish, and a good way to just informally dip your toe into something to see if you may want to get involved.  Check out our Flocknote page to sign-up and then you will be plugged into our communication so you can just hear about what is happening at each of our parishes before you decide where you want to serve.
