A Note From Fr. Jeremy
SO THANKFUL FOR SO MUCH HARD WORK
Brothers and Sisters,
There is so much work around the parishes throughout the year. During Advent, Christmas, and the New Year this is especially true. I want to here offer my thanks to everyone who volunteers in any capacity for the Church during the year and in a special way those who help with all of the many things that happen to prepare for Advent, Christmas, and the take down of those seasons as well.
Music and choir, decorating, setup and take down, and even just all the work for every Sunday Mass is a lot to get done. Our parishes each have dedicated volunteers who are committed to making our parishes special places for prayer. Thank-you to each of you. We are grateful. If you’re not involved, please do step forward and ask where we might be able to add you in as a choir member, musician, usher, Eucharistic minister, reader, and many other roles as well. We will welcome your help and commitment because we all need a break even from the work that we love.
Please join me in thanking those who volunteer for the parish all the year long in these many ways. It’s a special commitment to be on one of the teams that are scheduled throughout the year. It’s a special commitment to be on one of the teams that has tight timelines like the Holy Day decorating. The parishes would be lacking a special quality without their work. Again, thank-you to each of you.

In the new calendar year, let’s all make a resolution to volunteer for our parishes more than the previous year. We need the help and the parishes would not be here in the first place without dedicated members who give generously of their time and finances.
God be near,
Father Jeremy, pastor
